Hot tip: Alphabet City Edits

Dj Ionik's label is pushing this one out soonish. I've been a fan of his tune selection and overall work - I actually did a small interview with him on music on this digital age -, and this forthcoming 12 inch clearly deserves a tip of my hat. Both sides are great, have a listen below.

I can't get enought of these guys. Dope deepish techno jams with vocals on top that recall Prince, MF PRINCE!!! (They did a cover of Dirty mind, but it's kinda hush-hush, because the Purple One is rather protective of his songs)



Quite brilliant. Even if they have amazingly annoying promo game/concept, only rivalled in stupidness by Mungolian Jetset (another amazing Norway disco act, check them out). And this comes from someone who knows a botched brand management, well fuck, I'm a part of DWTF empire - the royals of misguided, inside-ish internet hype.
