I'm having a good Sunday, haven't stressed about working at all (probably should have) and got the first chance to play some football outside. It's sunny and warm, how dope!

Instant happiness
I shouldn't be updating this blog with all the work/studying I need to do. But here's just a quick video of a recent favorite by the duo Ashford & Simpson.
In a few seconds it just lifts off to happiness with the listener. So energetic and infectuous. I ordered a 12-inch version of it, let's hope it's this one.

Sunday chillin'
I'm having mixed feelings about this Sunday: on one hand I feel like getting all things done for the upcoming week, on the other I feel like listening to music and watching some football.
Anyways, here's a song I've been feeling very much lately. It's somewhere between melancholic smoothness and groovy mellow funk. I've heard an amazing edit of this in a Todd Terje set, if anyone happens to know it, feel free to inform me!
Like one commentator puts it : "W&W is restrained excellence!"
Womack and Womack's Teardrops is also quite a winner.
